FOR CHURCHES

Our desire is to see every ECO church get involved in church planting. Whether you are a church of 40, 400, or 4,000, every church can impact their community through church planting.

Churches that want to plant take the primary financial and legal responsibility to help the church planter and plant. As well, they will be responsible for the recruiting, assessment, training, and coaching of the planter. The national office and Presbytery will provide advice, consultation, and referrals as needed.

There are four stages for planting: 1) Discern; 2) Prepare; 3) Launch, and 4) Multiply. The specific steps in each stage are listed below. Please note that each church plant and each church that wants to become a church planting church is different. The following steps are only provided as "guidelines" to help you think through the process of planting a new church. Steps and orders of steps might be very different for each church and church plant.

If you have any questions or would like to connect to take the next step, please email us and we'd love to help.
